Does anyone know what type of oil goes int the Auto Bx and Diffs?

Manual says Shell ATF M1375.4 for the Auto but Castrol show "Refer Dealer" in their book.
For the Diffs does any body know of an alternative to the Shell SAF XO?

SAF XO is a Castrol oil, 75w-90 synthetic.

PRODUCT APPLICATION
Castrol SAF-XO is recommended for the following applications:
· BMW rear axles fitted with conventional (non-limited slip)
differentials
· MAN approved for truck and bus rear axles
· ZF approved for commercial vehicle hypoid axles
· Passenger car and commercial vehicle axles that specify API G-L5
and SAE 75W-90, 80W-90 or 90.
· BMW recommend rear axle oils be replaced every two years.
Although Castrol SAF-XO and SAF-XJ are compatible with mineral
oils, addition of mineral oil will reduce the performance and
protection of both products. Mineral oil should only be added if the
recommended Castrol SAF-XO and SAF-XJ Synthetic oil is not
available.

Hi Jamo,

No I want it for topups if necessary and ointermediate servicing, I will take it into RoverTech shortly, just waiting for Kevin to get the diagnostic gear

I do need to understand the servicing requirements though as it will be our companion in some very remote areas.

I've been doing much the same. I want to be able to do as much as possible myself.
