Is there any good High Country maps online ? Or a single image file !
After one that shows most of the tracks in a good resolution, as I want to email it to someone !
Or you can email it to me if you like, the address is : https://www.aulro.com/afvb/images/imported/2008/03/136.jpg
Thanks
Matt.

G'Day Matt
I posted a link to the Deerhunters maps in the huts section, dunno if you've seen it and if it suits your needs
Here (http://www.aulro.com/afvb/high-country-huts/36841-online-vic-high-country-maps-pdf.html)
It's in multiple .pdf files and I've found it to be accurate enough in the areas I've been interested in. I'm not aware of any single image files

Hema's latest High Country Ed 2 is very good. I also use Rooftops if they cover the area.

Thanks for that, seen all those, was after something like the Hema paper type maps, but in one large file :) so it is seamless, guess it would be too big, oh well doesn't matter.

Buy the Hema electronic map which comes in two seperate image files for Oziexplorer, East and West. Then use OziMapMerge to create one large file. Set the resolution to something like 50m/pixel. Worked for me.

You could go to Google Maps and get a map of the whole area. Google maps now also do a topo type map. Then get your friend to zoom in on the points of interest for greater track detail.

Don't think it shows the tracks or track names though, or does it ?
If it doesn't I wonder if there is a overlay for Google Earth that shows the tracks...mmm... googling now !
