hi all
i am chasing 3 or 4 sets of the steel wheel nuts to suit alloy wheels that they made to suit early 4 door rangies & discos.
my defender has the tin plated ones & they are getting burred out & won't come off easily so i am stuffed if it happens in the middle of nowhere!
has anyone else had this hassle 7 sorted it without cutting the tin off them all?
let me know if you can help & how much.
many thanks

They are still available as a part but a set of 20 are not cheap. I got some new ones from Discovery Automotive in Perth when I replaced the original alloys on my 1985 RR HiLine. The nuts without the stainless steel cap were about $50 cheaper for the set than the S/S covered ones but were still about $20 each nut. You should be able to find some from people wrecking early HiLines although people will probably keep the nuts with the alloy rims.

P.S. I am keeping my spare nuts for my spare set of alloys in case I want to use them on my spare RRc.
