Hi everyone
It looks like over the next year I am going to rebuild this 110 County I have in the paddock.

Current question is, how much capacity have people achieved in terms of fuel/water tanks in their 110s? At the moment, it has a standard rear tank, which I think is about 88L, and two sil tanks that come up under the front seats, which are 55-60 each, apparently (previous owner cant exactly remember). They were aftermarket tanks out of Melbourne somewhere.

Any clues on how big these actually are?
Also, has anyone fitted any other tanks underneath? It can be a long term project for me and mates to custom them ourselves? How much do you reckon is possible, while maintaining ground clearance?

I figure, currently there must be about 200L of fuel tank. Slightly more wouldnt go astray, though I am always carrying at least 20-40L of water anyway, so that may aswell go underneath mounted properley, as 200L of fuel is enough for just about anything except a complete crossing of the Canning with side trips, etc.

I figure this vehicle will be with me for a while, so I amy aswell build it up as best I can.

Cheers,

Adam

Ive looked at my crystal ball and it says they are 55litres each.....:D

There are a few aftermarket sill tanks on the market...
just measure them up and work out the volume...

i had a Sill tank that i sold and it was about 80 litres.. and it came right up into the seat box.

Problem with the commercial ones is they hang down and you smack them.
