Took the twins to their first Easter Show today.

Lots of animals, ride on the Ferris Wheel, checked out the fruit displays.

No woodchopping.:(

Saw a couple of Land Rovers at the military stand.

The kids had a couple of questions for Blknight.aus.

How come one of the axle ends on the 6x6 was missing a bolt and one loose?

How come the tyres were in such shocking state?

Why was there a jerrycan from 1947 on the back of one of them?

There were a couple of other things they picked up on, but they've gone to bed and I can't remember.

Oh yeah, something about tractor wheels.

:D:D:D

One of these too, I think

How come one of the axle ends on the 6x6 was missing a bolt and one loose?, driver has not handed in a DVR (defective Vehicle Report) or not carried out his first parade prior driving

How come the tyres were in such shocking state? driver once again

Why was there a jerrycan from 1947 on the back of one of them? cause it's probably still servicable

There were a couple of other things they picked up on, but they've gone to bed and I can't remember. the defence force is like every other organisation, cannot retain tradies on the money that they pay them, if a tradie spots a fault he should XX the vehical

Oh yeah, something about tractor wheels.

One of these too, I think no sure it would have been a tipan, would have been a bushmaster

Yeah, thanks, the twins aren't too good at telling the difference between vehicles. There are Land Rovers, and there's everything else.:D

and here's a funny terminology thing.

Around the Sydney basin (inside the Sandstone curtain :p) ) it's "the Easter Show".
In the country, it's "The Royal"

Possibly because this side of the sandstone curtain "The Royal" is Royal National Park - just south of Sydney.
