Heard a rumour she was given a title, and a truck full of Rum.
Big price to pay considering

I couldn't afford the rum. It was a good deal but I was broke.

Well thanks guys.
I know I'm a little late. But better than never yeah?
I'm hitting Newy tonight...so watch out.
And, as a matter of fact, I didn't score any free fuel or rum...or even an Isuzu! Muchly disappointed. I was thinking about getting a bumper sticker made and continuing the campaign!
For those wondering. Dobbo kindly wrote, in the grime covering the County's rear window. Will shag for fuel or rum. Had me giggling for a bit, and then another 'helpful bystander' decided to be really useful and add or Isuzu on the end.
As for the award? Ehhh, I've been busy. I dunno what award Dobbo's on about, but I...won Top Auto Electrical Apprentice of the year (dunno if it's national, state or regional). I've also spent the better half of today and all yesterday in training for WorldSkills. A competition between tradespeople. I'm going to the nationals in Sydney in July. Wish me luck?

Ron filled me in on the Cooma happenings - no wonder he used a sad smiley :wasntme:.

As for wishing you luck - nah, you don't need luck after all your Land Rover electrical experience ;).
Go whip some electrical butts !!

Landrovers are a -bad- electrical experience...But there are worse, believe it or not. In fact landrovers on the whole make me feel bad. I have a Freelander in at work at the moment, with coolant that's just a funny light brown sludge (oil & water). I got the job of removing he head, no worries. The head bolts are as long as my freaking arm! *laughs*
I got, a spanking 40L engel fridge. It's so cool!:p
And, two bunches of flowers.
And chocolates...
And SSS steaks tonight!
*drools*

Best of luck with the competition.
Do you work at an LR dealer or specialist?

That's surprising actually. Freelanders rarely have head gasket problems;).
Make sure the owner is sitting down when the bad news is dished out.

Hah, no, or I'd have quit already ;).
And thankyou, all of you. It's always nice to have a cheer squad.

My whole family just never keeps their mouths shut do they! And no, I didn't try the shank. My brother, and one of my mates did. My brother crashed and burned, but the other managed, got a hat, and a name on the board!
We should have an Aulro comp...to sort out the men from the boys!
