I'm A Dad Again :-)

G'day All,

As many of you know we went into hospital today for Sharlea to be induced. Up at 4.30 am :( at the hospital by 6am. Waters were broken at 7am were I promptly grabbed my brekkie and nipped into the other room and said la la la in my head whilst eating my Weet Bix :). As you can see it was a pretty tough day for old Dad :eek::

Then the real work started....well for Sharlea as the drip bought on the contractions and out came the gas. I took some pretty cool pics of her going hammer and tongs on the gas pipe....but have be sworn to a painful death if I were to post them......( see honey I didnt....she said she was going to check the net from the hospital).

Anyhoo after much yelling and pain...and that was just me getting my fingers squashed from her grip:D, Jackson David H-C was born at 1.50pm. Healthy...8 pounds 11, good set of lungs on him and like his old man took to the booby with no probs. Connor met his new brother this evening and is very happy and True and Ash tomorrow. His other brother most likely Friday, so Daddy is enjoying a home alone......hmmm very alone......dunno if I like that :eek:

Seriously though, Mum's rock, I joked that I should have worn my tshirt that says "Glad I am a man" today, because I couldn't go through that pain, so all the mums out there....Cheers and to my better half...Im a lucky man :wub:

Thanks everyone for your kind comments, and yes Chris...sometimes I am a woos :p. Bit quiet round the old house last night, just me, myself and I...looking forward to getting True and Ash today, they rang me first thing to say can I pick them up early from day care so they can see their brother. Though I think also a case they hate day care :). He will get his first ride in a Landy very soon, in fact the first child to travel in a landy for the first time :D,
