Gday all,
About to paint my sunraysias for my series 3 before I put a brand new set of rubber on them. At a crossroads as to what colour to paint them though. Options are:
White
Black
Bright Green (colour of the car)

Im a bit of a fan of any of them, thought I might pick your brains for your thoughts.

Cheers,
Josh

I really don't think white rims look very good on dark cars.

Depends on what your really after look wise..

Personally I would go black, as I feel black is far more subtle, but in the same instance could look menacing

White might look ok if the car is light although I think white look very tatty very quickly with a few knocks and scrapes...

The same green may look a little odd, like your just tight and were using up the left overs in the can :p

Do you have photoshop put a pic of your car on it and try the three colours out see which ones you think look good..

Never thought of galvanising rims but that's a good idea. Otherwise these ones above would look good.
What are those rims though Sclarke?

Black.

I had black sunnys on a mustard S3 and it looked sweet.

But then again I hate white rims ;) (Except of defenders)

This is what it looks like at the moment:

Im thinking black rims though. I originally wasnt a fan of black, particularly on white cars. But with a new set of 31 Mudders i think black would look pretty sweet on this.

Rims look fine, think you should be asking what colour to paint the car.:p

Metalic Silver and a few layers of clear coat would look great against that Pee/Pea green.

Rims do need a clean up when you look at them closely, surface rust starting to show.

Car came that colour:wasntme:... Didnt like it either at first, but it grows on you. In terms of quality of the paint job i think its actually quite good, so wont be changing colour any time soon. :D

passivated zinc.
The gold would go nicely against the green car. :D
