Hiya, We had someone go through out cars last night.

The went through the Disco which never gets locked. But they also went through our other car a 2005 BA MKII XR8 Ute. Once I found someone had been through the Disco I went and checked the Ute which had it's passenger door pushed too.
The drivers door was closed and locked. Does anyone know how they would have got into a locked car without doing any damage? And what can I do so that it won't happen again?

Thanks,
Dannie

Down the strip between window and sill...

Look closer, you'll find the mark where they pushed something through..

You want to stop it happening again? Lock them in a garage, its the only way....

Alarms help, but only as they tamper, by going off....

Get ones with proximity that give warning is the best way to keep vermin out of your vehicle..

My disco had a remote paging alarm, someone touched it and it would page the remote... Saved the vehicle more than once!

2am and a big bugger like me charging you with a polycarb! will certainly make you run away :D

The thing I'm really annoyed with is that the Disco was parked right next to our bedroom window, and I have 2 dogs, American Stafs, who were asleep next to the back door, and none of us heard a thing.

I figured out what they took though and I've been laughing all day. I had 4 hyperdermics full of Ivermectin, a cattle/horse/dog worming drug on the dash in the Disco. They took those and nothing else. They must have gone to the wifes car thinking they might be able to score some more gear there. I've been listening for news reports of Junkies getting a bad batch

I have always broken into cars which I have locked my self out of by using a bit of wire between the window and the out door skin.
On newer cars this can be very difficult due to improved design.
I was talking to a NRMA friend the other day.
Alot of there work is getting into cars which people have locked them selves out.
It was interesting how easy it is with the right equiptment and know how to get into a car.........even new ones.
I will not tell how as the information may not go to the right places.
It can be very easy so a garage is the go.
