Intercooler

At the moment on ebay there is a 300tdi replacement intercooler with a 50%larger copacity 4 sale. Just wondering what I could expect in increases with this mod alone or would it be necessary 2 tweak the pump & do the exhaust as well 2 get any real gains? Im not all that keen on tweaking the pump:(.

Nah you can put it straight on with out having to tweak anything. It will still make a hell of imporvemnet.

bigger intercoolers are a good thing on all turbodiesels but you need to be wary of poorly designed ones that increase the boost lag they still offer the same benefits just a couple of seconds later than good ones.
