Hi All,
I just had a set of 5 new 245/75/16's fitted to the disco2 (03 model), and had read that to make the spare fit on the rear door carrier, all you had to do was take the carrier off the back door and refit it updside down. Having taken it off, it seems not. I don't know if the '03 models are different, but the carrier is 'offset' so if you turn it upside down it fouls the rear wiper. Likewise, it can't be raised higher up even if it remains the 'right way up' (even if holes could be drilled) because it would foul the rear wiper. Is there an easy way of doing this, is it time for the grinder, or am I being dense? Any ideas much appreciated.
Cheers,
Ed
