D1 and D2 rear end compatability

I have been searching for information regarding getting a dual rear wheel bar for my D2. I have come across someone on the site - (Ho Har) who has one on his D1 that is for sale but i am unsure if it would be compatible. Can anyone shed some light on the subject? cheers GB
