Hey guys.....I'm in need of your collective help again.

My replacement SLS air bags finally arrived from the US yesterday.
I started working on the car to replace them, only to find that the wheel lock nut tool in my tool kit is the wrong one
Anyone have a 'J' lock nut tool. The one in my kit is an 'E'.
I just want to replace these air bags so I can drive my f*&kin car......it's been sitting in my garage pretty much since I bought it.

Cheers
Paul

I'll check mine tonight (and bring it to the meeting if it's the right one).

Thanks Scallops,
If I can get some replacement nuts today, then we can just swap them over at the meeting using your tool.

Sorry mate, had to have a laugh :Das I can understand the frustration. I have some unlocking doovy in the car, will bring mine as well, see if that works. I will be getting rid of mine when I can and just have a normal nut...so to speak ,

Thanks Stevo, but I always thought you were a normal nut. :)
Actually I just rang LR Spares in the Valley and they had the correct lock nut tool in stock, on the shelf. I was amazed......even more amazed that it only cost $17 as well.
Finally a happy outcome from a phone call to LR.
I was going to replace my lock nuts too, but depending on the alloy wheel you have, they can cost up to $40 each. :o
I'll stick with my lock nuts unless I can find a cheaper alternative.
Cheers

Paul Aww shucks Paul, I always thought I was an abnormal nut :p. Hmmm $40 each x 5, could be a down payment on a winch bar instead :D,

No worries...thanks for the offer though.

You'd better watch your wheels....my "incorrect" tool is an 'E' as well. ;)
