anyone got a diesel/gas converstion in Perth?? or anywhere in OZ

Just trying to round up some info on this technology. How much it costs, is it worth the effort, what the results are like etc etc

I know its not a Landy but I am going through the process of getting my 100 series Land Cruiser TD fitted with the gas. I talked to a mob called Gas Diesel Australia (1800633055), they have branches in WA and advertise in the West Australian. The rebates are still happening, there is $2000 rebate from federal government and $1000 rebate from WA gouverment so I will eventually pay $1385. Any way they qoted 80%diesel and 20% gas. They have 26litre and 36litre tanks. The price for this fitted $4385.00 using the 36 litre tank. Any how I wont be in Perth to get it done for a couple of months so I hope to hear how others go with it in the mean time,

Those contemplating this might have a look at budget speculation - suggestions that the rebate will either be halved or go altogether. As usual all the government is saying is "no comment".

Could be worth committing quickly if you are going to!
