the car my bother is looking at would be bought wholesale and so doesnt have the 3mth warranty. they are offering the awsn 3yr warranty for 640. is this a good price and good warranty? what other options does he have? i imagine whatever warranty he gets, must be bought at time of purchase. any help will be great.
cheers.

Just had a read of the policies and.......... find out what your getting first. They have many policies and the lesser ones are.... a waste of time.
The price is right if it is an extension of new car warranty but I doubt it is.
Also-look at if the vehicle needs to be serviced any where in particular etc.

i have an awn one. they are great. they have paid over 3k on the disco only cost me 1800 and still have 2 years to. they only thing is you have to have it serviced at a workhouse and send in a copy of the receipt.

beefy, is it right that the awn warranty(the one i've been offered) pays out upto a certain $$ amount per item and then u pay any extra over thsi(if any) also what if i have an engine claim that costs 2000(the limit of engine coverage) in 1 month and then another calim in 2 years time. do they pay only 2000 total for the engine, or 2000 per claim.
thanks.
i also understand the servicing requirements, and have no issue with this. i have a mate with a workshop who can do this fo a decent price.

Simon,
Its per claim. i have had the abs senors replace on all wheels, the start motor, front drive shaft, clutch slave and master all done not problems . the only cost i have had is $11 for the brake and clutch fluid.
