Just a taste of whats in there.
Oh all right it my daughters!
I started making this pint size Defender for my daughter a couple of years ago, but a few unforseen circumstanses saw its demize.
My daughter after seeing Tomb raider asked about the little Land Rover, and could I start again. I allready have a project under way, but I thought what the hell, Ill do it agian. So I am to start a new one.
This one will Be based on the Lara Croft one, with a 6-1/2 HP petrol engine. Last time I was going to put leaf springs on it but this time I have a set of coils for this one. I have the wheels, allredy (from the last one) but I wil in time upgrade it to the wider wheel barrow wheels. ( if there are any tradies her tha have buggered wheel barrows with good wheels Pm me please and Ill take em off your hands).
Any way this was as far as I got last time.

A finished on in the UK, but its electric where as mine will have a petrol motor

I have gotten the old chassis out to see if it salvageble, and to see if I could do what I wanted too, luckily I can do both.
I have cut off the body skeletor to work on the chassis. The old one was based on a short wheel base with leaf springs, so first job was to cut and lengthen the chassis behind the rear angled chassis part. I then inserted new lenghts to get the required length, I will just add that this is not a scale model it just a representaion of what I want.

The next thing is to clean up all the chassis, and remove the Leaf spring locators.

I have also inverted the rear piece to form the tow bar assembly.
