Chipping; tunit. DP chip, what is the better option.
Exhaust what mods.
Going to be used mainly for touring as we do a bit of solo traveling we want it to be fairly capable, other mods on the list are; 2in lift, 265's, CDL,Bullbar, Snorkel maybe winch to start

Hi
Being an early TD5 chiping is more difficult than the newies.
It involves de-soldering the chip and soldering a newie in.Toombie can do this but recommends you supply a spare ECU to be converted, the original is kept as a spare. The newer ones are "Flashable",ie a simple laptop upgrade.
Exhaust, remove the center muffler, fit a straight thru pipe.
If you get the intercooler upgraded you can go for the more extreme chipping:cool::cool::cool::cool::cool:

Just beware that the auto gearbox was not designed for big power or torque increases. If you chip your TD5, don't be surprised that you'll see transmission problems down the track.
