Okies, have an issue with my series II Disco at the moment. Left front abs sensor is being naughty.

Q1; Does the gear inside the hub have to be spotless or is grease on it normal??

Q2: Does anyone have a L Front Abs sensor to part with for cash or beer?????:angel:

I have no specific knowledge of the disc. But I'd be cleaning the connector an re-setting the fault. might help?

Do you know anyone with a nanocom? Can you get the fault reset?

Once the fault has been registered 3 times by the ECU self testing without being fixed or going away it becomes permanent,even if the fault is repaired/goes away at a later date.
The fault then needs to be cleared by a dealer or somebody with Rovacom/Testbook/or Nanocom.

Does that include if it faults three times due to operation with CDL? If so i'm stuffed because mines off again and i thought that it was a faulty whatever, not that it had faulted three times whilst 4WDing with CDL engaged.

Is there any way to reset the fault without going to the dealer?

Thanks Tim

The CDL operation shouldnt cause faults.
There is a list of members with their own diagnostic gear,see here http://www.aulro.com/afvb/electronic-diagnostics/51189-members-diagnostic-equipment.html

If you are ever down near Emu Plains I can probably reset it for you - I have T4. I've never hooked up to a D2, though.

I just need to check that I have the right cable. I don't have them all.

If there is anyone else around my way who'd like me to plug in the diagnostics, I'm happy to do it. No charge, of course.

I have a left hub, no CV, just the hub/sensor, i'll take a pic tonight to see if it's what you want.

I changed it when i got a complete hub/CV and axle to replace my broken CV.

Then you'll need too buy that, this hub is in good nic so if you get the sensor it's still available if you want it.

Coopers Pale Ale thanks:beer::whistling:
