Amazing how some things go unnoticed. On the front chassis outrigger of the 107, passengers side (the one which the bulkhead attaches to) there is a hole approx. 3" dia. It is similar to a driveshaft hole, as per front and rear crossmembers.
What's it for?

I've never seen one but I suspect exhaust pipe - on which side is the exhaust?

Is that for the brake master cylinder? (or for access to it) I just looked for a picture that might show it but can't find one.

I have to agree with John there is a set of holes on the passengers side outrigger for the master cylinder in a LHD vehicle. Although it is usually not tubed like the ones for the PTO shafts.
It is however a cause of a lot of rusting in that location by trapping dirt and water.

I, too, looked for pictures, but the books only show the drivers side. Don't believe it's for clutch/brake bits, as there are usually more than one for this purpose, and it is tubed like the PTO holes.
Might have to post photos.
