Still NO Baby Boy looks like he likes to be where he is, inside of Mum.
Anyway driving home thursday 24th stopped at a set of lights went to take off and a almighty bang then like rattle of stones in a tin can.
Clutch you think or flywheel, oh no could not be that easy not with a bub on the way.
Made a few calls (won't mention the useless mobs down this way)
And had the Landy towed to a clutch repairer, had a good look and found sound was from rear diff.
Towed back home pulled rear Diff cover off no broken teeth or any sort of damage.
???????? What the heck :mad::mad::(
Called around was told a few price's of a diff anywhere from $4000 to full replacement of axle $15,000 I should think not thank you.
Won't even say who gave that quote.
Called 4wd to see if they could help with the Diff was given the green light and was again towed from home to the other side of Melbourne.
That night did the thing I should have done in the first place and called Master Dinty, was instructed to remove rear axle's and have a damed good look, to late to do that now.
Ok left side was cactus the drive flange was stripped smooth and axle was not that better off either.
Cost in total $537.35 labour incl.
Long way from $4000 plus don't you think.
So a big thank's to our mates at 4wd here in Melbourne in getting us back on the road, and thanks to Master Dinty for being there in my time of crises.
;)
