Now, I assume I can use the word "******" as a legitimate adjective as it's an oft-used word in the Australian idiom and not as bad a the D word which lead a recent thread (which went unpunished:cool:).

Having said that...thought I'd share this.

Last year, on an early trip in my then new 4WD life I followed Harry et al on a trip to Ormeau. Being a keen amateur photographer/videoer I did a movie and posted it (in sections) on youtube for the enjoyment of my fellow travelers, a section of which is here....

I didn't make out that this was the best footage ever taken, nor the best commentary, but the day was good fun, which was the point.

So anyway, the other day this ****** posted this comment:

"crap vid crap 4bies crap fliming, just crap "

So I commented back:

"Well you're a little ray of sunshine, aren't you. Didn't your mother say "not to say anything if you didn't have anything nice to say"? If you don't like the vid, don't watch it! "

Said ****** replies "thats how u flim thats how u make a vid haha " and links 3 of his own videos.

I'm impressed (not with his (or her, don't want to be sexist) spelling; what's a flim anyway?) and comment "Mate, get over yourself. You may want to put yourself out there as the next Spielberg, but I couldn't give a rats...get a life "

I've now barred him from commenting. Anyone else had similar experiences?

You get some real drongos commenting on youtube vids I have found. Sometimes the comments are more entertaining than the vids posted. I have a few up and whilts I allow commnets, I'll be locking them off if I get any sort of negative comments.

If you don't like it, shut your gob and move on. With LR vids, you always get the wombats in Toyotas making there stupid comments about how good they're rigs are and how they should/could/would do it better :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

infact i was quite pleased that on my last video of weasel i had a women comment you go girl!!! as the video was to show that girls could do it too!:)
