D2 Td5 dashboard lightshow!!

I love my Disco TD5 and have been driving it for about 18 months. It has however now started playing electrical tricks on me. At random, radio would switch off and on, mirror compass resets and random lights on the dash flickering on and off. It seems to happen predominantly when pulling away from a standing start but also occasionally while driving. Engine running fine, no loss of power.

Has anyone experienced similar conditions? Someone suggested replacing the engine compartment fuse-box due to a damaged circuit board.

i have something similar... its just my instrument binnacle.. the whole thing just goes dead.. except for the indicator lights and the backlighting.. they still work!

i thought originally it was heat but it has just started up again.. all gauges and warning lights go off.. 30 secs to 5 minutes later they come back up! had everything out and cant seem to find the fault.. and at $1200 for a new binnacle im not that desperate yet!
