at this stage it will be thursday

Q. how long by taxi to get from the airport to Gillman?

Any suggestionson a reasonable hotel that work can book me into, don't want it miles away, within striking range of the airport and the suburb of Gillman with a good pub close by....

i'm no good with the hotels, but a taxi from the airport to gilman should only be 30mins during regular traffic times. give or take 10, for different traffic/roadworks(if any out that way)

West Lakes Int Hotel, across the road from AAMI Stadium 15 mins to the airport and 15 to Gillman.
Thats about the best of the bunch out there..

....uum, thanks for the replies, the bean counters at work are making us fly down and back in the one day:twisted:arrive back in brissy at 10:15pm from memory

they wanted us to fly out at 6am, got that changed to 7am

would i get out of s.a. alive wearing a cats jumper:p

thanks for the offer but there will be two of us and i will have plenty of taxi vouchers

at this stage we will be flying out at 8pm or there abouts....still need a good place for a feed and a few bears

wearing a cats jumper in Gillman would be a great idea. I'm certain you would be made to feel extra welcome.
Gillman is in Port Adelaide territory, and we know how much Port people love the Cats.
You would be welcome to the point that your return flight won't be necessary. The locals will probably organise a boat for you:o

Villi's on south road (Large Bakery with a cafe that do all sorts of things from pies to Mixed Grills) is pretty good and close to the airport
