Hi All,

I sorry, cant find the forum search facility so started new thread...

I am rebuilding a 4.6 short engine to go into a 93 3.9 LSE, but am having trouble selecting a cam. I tow and cruise and of course want the impossible fuel economy, and I'm mostly on gas.

If anyone has had good experience with a cam profiles and supplier please let me know.

It's amazing how a Crow or Wade can say their cams are high torque etc, yet their timing and lift figures can be so differerent! and so are prices, I'm now confused, would like to get close as it's a big job and costly to get it wrong?...or do I go standard...for safety?

Any advice appreciated.

I bought a modified cam (the recommended profile for more torque and towing) from Bruce Davis Performance Landys. You could try asking them
