I love Thai and Indian when you can get it.
Having said that i often try something new when we go out. Something that suits my taste.
Can not beat a good steak if it is a good cut and cooked right.

When we travel down to Melbourne, the Waterfront Restaurant in the Crown complex serve the 4 storey high cold seafood platter $150, Christine has the chicken.....:D

But I much prefer the camp oven roast with all the vegies and gravy

I'm a breakfast person so most meals I go out with friends I try to make breakky and not tea.

So a good breakky is 2 coffees and eggs benedict. But Salmon has to be good quality and the hollandaise is often made wrong but as long as it is done to my standard then all is well.

If it was dinner I suppose a margherita pizza and a bottle of good red.

You would love the breakfast they do at Madcowes on Phillip Island, they have a brekky called a royal - poached eggs, bacon, mushroms, spinach and smoked salmon on thick crusty toast, yummee !

Anything with Chili or Curry.

Has to be hot enough to burn the pan.
I make a mean Beef Green Curry that the wife refuses to eat.

Or I am quite partial to Mi Reong Noodles, I think that how it's spelt.

WTF ..... Each to their own man, but a tripe sanga ... whoah their pal.

Anyway, I love a damn good pasta, Tiamo's in Lygon Street, Carlton do one of the best in Melbourne ...... A big fat juicy chicken parma and chips good for a pub meal. However, when out with the missus for a nosh I can't go past a Rack of Lamb. Needs to be juicy, needs to be cooked right, oh yeah, that's got my mouth dripping now man, gotta go, hmmmm food must eat .....

A leg of fat western Qld. wether fed on saltbush, Cooper clover and Mitchell grass, slow cooked in the camp oven with the traditional baked spuds, swedes, carrots, pumpkin, and served with gravy made from the juices in the camp oven.

I am spoilt for Indian. A daughter-in-law is not just Indian, but a qualified chef. I love HOT curries but it took a while to get used to what she regards as hot. Her tamarind chutney is ti die for, as to the breads!!!!

That sounds good, probably good enough to get me there!. Spinach is weird I much prefer eating it with poached eggs for breky then with any dinner meal.

Anything new that has great flavours and is cooked right, I don't like paying good money for food SWMBO can cook at home (and it usualy tastes better).

Give me a new experience or a great seafood platter (no deep fried stuff) with Tassy lobster any day.

Cheers Andy.

My favourite eating out is sushi/sashimi because it is always better than my efforts at home.

It isn't my favourite food but I get the most satisfaction from it.
Chateauxbriand and salad nicoise goes alright too.;)

If dining out I like to try things I havn't had or are not likly to get in a long time. Important thing is that it tastes good and doesn't leave me ducking into macas afterwards.
