It must be around as it is made at the XXXX factory in Brisbane.
Dan Murphy should stock it.

The only possible humane thing left to do would be to convert to good old South Aussie Coopers Stout.:p

They've stopped making it!!! It was the only decent thing to ever come out of the XXXX brewery (and I am a Queenslander!).
Don't worry mate - Coopers Stout and Sheaf Stout are both good drops.

Good to see Coopers making something decent. They sure didn't when I lived in SA. I gave up drinking beer when I moved there in 1969. Haven't gone back to it since (I moved to WA after that and their beer was just as bad).
But I did find the Barossa Valley. :)

WA has the best beer in OZ now (IMHO).
Little Creatures: Pale and Rogers
Matilda Bay: Dogbolter, Rooftop Red and Redback
Pemberton: Nail Ale
A few good ones from Margaret River and elsewhere as well.

I could brew you some, but you would have to come and drink it:p:p:p:p:p
Look into micro brewries, they have everything on hand, all the recepies you just need your bottles.Still cheaper than buying from the bottleshop.
BETTER STILL,invest in a keg homebrew system,it lifts "homebrew" to better than pub beer.
Once you get your favorite sorted its easy peasy!!!!
AND CHEAP.

Well, how strange...just sitting here drinking a nice bottle of stout!!
It is called Amarcord unique handcrafted brew.
This particular one is called 'THE REDHEAD'. A nice Red Double Malt.
A mere 6.5%.
They also do a Brunette. Has a bit of a kick to it at 10+%.
Get him to try them.
I miss my Guinness.
