Hi all,

As the title says, is anyone wrecking a Disco1 update in Brisbane?

I'm after another instrument binnacle. Specifically the petrol gauge. Mine kind of broke today when I was fiddling with it

Thanks

If you don't get a response, try Murray at LR Jaguar wreckers, Kelvin Grove. He will have it.

Cheers,

You can also try AJG Spares at Acacia Ridge (3273 6451). He should have a couple sitting on his shelves.

Was talking to a friend tonight and I think he said they moved to Beenleigh? Will give them a ring though as that is very close to me.

Will try the other place too.

V8Landy the postage would probably be too much. Although if you like you can check how much for postage and get back to me.

Now that is one person I would definitely NOT go to!

So long as he had it in stock for the right price I wouldn't really care what the guy is like. He wouldn't be doing any work on it or serving me tea :)

I just rang him and he is still at Acacia Ridge. Got a price but I'll ring around this week to see what the going rate is.

Gee, to me that's almost tantamount to a recommendation. :D

Best Wishes,

Go for it.
He'll rip you off as quick as look at you.
I remember him from the days he worked with Murray at jag Rover spares, before getting the sack!
He should really be in Gaol..

AJG is fine as long as you bargain hard and you know what your buying.

Well I have lined one up privately locally so all should be well.

I really wish I had the room to park a spare Disco1 in the garage and just wreck it as I needed the bits. They are certainly cheap enough to do that now.

Thanks.
