View Full Version : How Big is Yours

We are in the process of widening our driveway, so we can fit both cars and both trailers in the driveway, when we were measuring all of the vehicles, we discovered that the Disco is actually the smallest of the 4, in all dimentions except height.
Both the box trailer and Camper trailer as well as our Toyota Camry are wider and longer than the Disco and not just by a little, but a considerable amount.
So how big is yours:D

Yep, our last house had a pretty small garage, the D1 fit even with bullbar & towbar fitted, but my 2wd lowlux workute didn't.

ahh Baz , there are so many things I can say right at this minute but this is a G-rated Forum ,,
okay back to your question, I can quite comfortably fit 3 vehicles on my drive way. no Camper trailers , only a small trailor . turning circle is tight It's on a Slope and I have to put the disco in low-2 to exit , and I cannot do any oil changes on my driveway either :( I have to take it to local servo.

22 cm (oops...) meters long, 4.8m in narrowest point and 6.7m widest. I hate small driveways and prefer reverse parking, so I'm happy with my new driveway :D
Cheers,
Ruslan

At a guess... 150 meters long? Id like to see some of the country boys here tell us about there 3 days of travel to get to the end of their driveway. Exactly who does have the biggest on AULRO?

This is what we are trying to acheive, being able to get in and out without shuffling other vehicles around.
I was a bit surprised that the Camry was wider than the Disco, considering that the Disco seems larger inside.

Drive way is one car width at the Court entrance.
It then widens to two car space at the carport, in front of the garage. Unfortunately the Discovery and Falcon in the car port have to be moved to get the two Jaguars out.
The drive way also gives access to the caravan on a slab on the front lawn and you can drive around that to the roller door at the side where the Daimler, 7x4 trailer and sheds are.

You must point me in the right direction Ron, as I'm obviously missing something. Where, in the mythical rules of politics does it state....." a Labor supporter must drive a **itbox, and be a low income earner"
