It's not fair :(. I was walking past the local bottle shop and noticed an 18pk of Johnnie walker cans for ...GET THIS ..... $59.99 . I asked why so much and it is a new thing the Government is doing to slow down binge drinkers  . So why do us normal drinkers who like a few cans here and there have to pay more just because of a few others that can't control themselves . I know i could go out and get a bottle cheaper but it makes it easier when heading out to a mate's place or a party of some sort ....... may have to go into the business and make Wannalandy Whiskey :D.

i went to get a few rum and cola cans the other night
$73.00!
got a bottle and a carton of cans at the supermarket. $36...
certainly not as convenient having to take that big mouthful out of the can first but it gets you there :P

Surely this is profiteering as the "new" rules eg tax should not be coming in until the budget is handed down tonite - then implemented from 1 Jul - so my view is that the new tax should not be in yet.

HOME BREW! YAY! since i'm as tight as a fish's proverbial, i must put in a plug for diy alcohol, stubby's for as cheap as 20 cents each, although i've never ventured to making spirits.
