Please choose an option that best describes why you enjoy four wheel driving:

I voted for the first option . But I also enjoy a good challenge and my family love going off road as well :D.

The increased interior space facilitates clandestine sexual liaisons on an ad hoc basis.

Also handy on the farm.

Those two statements in the one post... I'm not sure where that's leading:eek:

What about the poll response of:

I need a 4WD to be able to get out of town

Grommit

Can you repair the poll, I needed to choose the option "I need a 4WD to negotiate the David Jones' car park in Bondi Junction and to drive the kids to school at Scots College and Ascham" Unfortunately the option is not there, that and the fact that I don't have any kids doesn't help!

I need the Discovery to howld maye Chardonnay and crystal glasses whilst I spend time in Peppy Grove. (For all you commoners from the East Coast your closest equivilant is Toorak or Snives) . . . .In reality I love the challenge of 4wding and being able to pass on what little I know so that others may enjoy their 4wding

that needs to be a more than one selection poll...

I mainly use it for its carrying ability and the ability to get the gear to where I need it to be so I can do what I do...

since i havent gone on a joy trip yet without doing what it is that I do (but thats half the fun for me) I guess its the most appropriate one.

the family enjoys coming with me and I like to be able to get to the places that the hippies in bongo vans cant get to so they cant annoy me.

can you add another

So I can negotiate the sections of roads that the "Making Queenslands' Roads Better" campaign missed, such as the Bruce Highway and most of the minor Roads. :D:D:D

Like all 4WD owners, I enjoy using up our natural resources with incredibly poor fuel economy, damaging our bush and beach trails by driving like a hoon as much as possible, and running over small children in school zones.

Why isn't this a poll option???

Shame you can't vote for two options; I like to get away from it all....by going places only my 4wd will go....thus leaving the hoards behind.

I resolved that dilemma in the same way you did.
I voted for the first one because some of the places I like to go to in my 4WD are places where the great unwashed are unable to go.
So while a few of the others contain elements that are relevant, going to interesting, remote or secluded places is the main reason.

I'm hearing you on that one..... :(

But I picked going places not accessable to other vehicles since it wasn't there :)

Yep, there are lots of reasons to own a Discovery, in particular, for towing.
Firstly they are very stable vehicles, secondly they are a very comfortable vehicle with a fantastic seats (D1 is anyway).
The cushioning is superior to most vehicles and the leather great to sit on, just like Jaguars.

But the third reason is, no one other than a Land Rover owner, knows how old it is.:D
Those who have seen mine are surprised when I tell them it is 11 years old. Because of it's condition, most think it is one to two years old.

Now you don't get that with Jap vehicles. Just about everyone knows roughly how old they are.

Land Rovers are like Jaguars, timeless :D

Right! A horse is a horse, of course, of course,
And no one can talk to a horse of course

The problem is that they then walk there  and then annoy us

I was referring to the equine housing attachment that appears regularly on the towball of mine :D

I fixed that problem by getting rid of the Equine member of the family and then ****ing off all the associated freinds that came with it.

Problem fixed, no more horse float :D

By the way I voted for #1 but I could have voted for more of the above, I was going to vote for the last one but Landyandy got in first so it's not funny anymore :p

You need to add:

I need it for pulling other vehicals and machines out of water/mud

You call.
The most important option for Land Rovers is missing. I chose mine as it is so big I can find it in the parking lot and also the oil trail helps me remember where home is:cool:.
