I know this has probably been covered before but I have not been able to locate the details anywhere. I want to fit seat belts to my IIA truck cab. I have the brackets at the corner of the seatbox and door pillar sorted.
My question is where and how to fix the middle mounts? Has anyone got any photos of how it is done and the type of brackets that might be needed?
Thanks,
Russ

I'm not at home at present so I can't help directly. It depends on the body type, but have a look at the optional equipment parts book.
The two examples I have are, from memory :-
Ute cab - would be same as hardtop - the anchor bolts go through the rear panel just above the horizontal bit the seat box bolts to. On the back of this is a special angle bracket that is bolted through the floor of the tub with a special washer on the bottom.
Tray top ute - same position, but on the back of the panel there is a steel stay going at about 45degrees to the tub support bracket sticking up above the chassis.
The inertia reel is bolted to the rear panel behind the seat where late S3 bodies had a double thickness section about four inches square spot welded on.

Thanks John,
It is a trayback.
