My wife took the Disco to work yesterday and it got hit by some rather large rocks (courtesy of a passing truck) on the way home. Anyway this means another big crack in the windscreen (not an issue as I'm waiting on a new one to turn up). What also got damaged and now has a rather large crack in it is the plastic cover over the driver's side A pillar.
Don't suppose anyone has an intact one lying around they don't need?
Otherwise I'll try TRS on Monday.

Hi Derek,
Those side trims get replaced when the screen gets removed, due to them breaking when being removed! That is why the D2 windscreen replacement cost is a lot more than the early D1 and RRC:(

Thanks Justin, that means I'll get new ones anyway as all the bits for a new screen have been ordered (about 4 weeks ago  )

Hi Andrew,
Hmmm, I'm sure the last screen we got Novus to quote/ replace included these side pillar trims, they keep them in stock due to not being able to refit them properly after the clips break, or something like that.??
Anyone else had this experience? I'm interested to hear as I have been told this by 2 windscreen repairers now.
Whenever I ring on behalf of a custmer I get told the same thing, as the cost is more than D1...
