We've received a letter from Roam telling us that Bucko's V-Strom (rego is correct) has incurred 3 tolls for travel on the M7 on 17th and 18th March - three weeks after his death. https://www.aulro.com/afvb/
Not only that, the bike is still in police custody in Albury.
So he continues to ride on. https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

Just makes you think of how often they actually get it right...
You should do the aussie thing and inform today tonight and then sue them for upsetting you over all this, get some of the tolls back that you have given them :p
It's poor form really....:(

ron this does beg the question, [if it was rideable after the accident]
have they taken it for a ride, or is the 'Roam' system really up the sh 1 tango.
i sympathise [hmm, spell check] with you, my mates wife [read 'widow'] is still getting the odd thing about him flying somewhere,
and we know he 'aint.

After he died, we contacted Optus and went through the rigmarole of cancelling his accounts - through their deceased persons section.
Then we received a letter addressed to the Estate of the late Lee Beckett saying Optus were sorry to see him go and if he wanted to come back to Optus, they'd offer a good deal.
Then, after going to the Comm Bank and putting a freeze on his bank account we got a letter, again to the Administrator of the estate, offering a special deal on life insurance for him!

another beaurecratic stuff up, i recently recieved a renewal for my Dad's honourary NRMA membership he was entitled to as a road service dude and into his retirement.
the thing is not only did he die in 2001, but the last time they sent a renewal (WTF do you need to renew and honourary membership?) was in 2002 and i told them then that he'd carked it.
typical!

Seeing as how it's 1) a road toll thing, and 2) they're incompetent, I hope you enjoy telling them to get stuffed!
How often in life can you be so in the right? :D:D:D
