Hi Dullbird,

What brand is the head unit? A mate is holding one for me, looks very similar.

Did you bother having the TV/DVD handbrake interlock wired up? I'm not familiar with the alarm system on the new Defender but I'm guessing theft isnt too much of an issue.

Very nice!

no we didn't but your supposed to as it is illegal to beable to operate the tv/dvd when the car is moving not that we do just make sure if you have police in the area you keep the screen away.....

its not branded but i believe it has either a sharp or phillips screen in it..i dont care as it was half the price of all the other units on the market at the time...if it falls apart it falls apart, seems to feel well built

the only other thing we haven't done yet is wired up to the revers gear if you connect it up when you select reverse the screen comes out automatically turns towards the driver and selects the camera.....at the moment we have to get the screen out ourselves......no big issue as once you got the screen out you put it in reverse and it starts the camera

oh forgot to say that this unit also allows for 2 head rest monitors to be wired up to it as well...and when you use the phone answer system you hear the person through your car speakers :)
