changing AULOR email address

I got a PM today saying my messages are bouncing back. About a week ago I tried to change my email address because it was old, I have tried up change it about 15 times and it says "that email address is already in use" of course when I log back into see the email AULRO is using it is not updated and still the old one. Does anyone know what the problem could be? THanks.
