What I need to know is, can you fit 265's on a D2 with out lift if it is not being used offroad. I can't do the suspension for a couple of weeks but I have to go away before then and I need new tyres.

Hi Discozook, I've had 265/70-16 BGF all terrains on my D2 without a lift. However, I had to remove the front inner guard lining that shields the windscreen washer bottle, do the same on the drivers side. Apart from that the spare wheel carrier might need turning upside down, if you look up 'inverting spare wheel carrier' you'll find out how to do it.

I had no troubles or rubbing going off road with that size tyre & no lift.

Yep my 265/70x16 STT fitted ok with no lift.
