bigger tyres?

Can any one give some guidence! i have a series 2 disco with 16 inch factory mags, i wish to fit bf goodrich 245/70/16 tyres on. Will these fit or will they scrub etc?

yes slunnie is right they will fitt no problems, I am also runing 255/85 16 tyres with a 40mm off set with no problems so far apart from a blown CV but fixed with a stronger one

Got 235/85 x16 MTRs on mine.I do have a 2" lift but dont come anywhere near touching.Should be OK on standard height being that bit narrower.Give you a great LONG footprint for off-roading.They do lift the gearing,mine does suffer being the TD5 manual,an auto or V8 will handle them easy.
Mine also has ACE,still handles like its on rails,unsure how a non ACE D2 would handle the tall skinny tyres.
