Hi All,
Well - i'm at the stage of wanting to do a few cosmetic touchups to some scratches on the D2. The first owner (I am the 3rd) did a real bodgejob on some 'scratches'. I've looked on the plate @ the front of the D2 and the paint code is: 696. However, I did a googleschmoogle search and came across this website:
Landrover Colour Codes (http://www.uniquecarsandparts.com.au/colour_codes_landrover.htm)
with Landrover (and other vehicle) codes.
The code only remotely similar to the 696 is:
LANDROVER ALVESTON RED PEARL LRC696/CDX 1999 2000 METALLIC
My landrover is a 2000 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY II 00.5MY metallic burgandy in colour.
My question is:
What does LRC/CDX stand for, would it be the same code as the plain 696 on the plate?
thanks for your help... :-)
ps - I did a search on the forum and nothing really came up for D2, thus the post.
Cheers,
L
