When my WiFi router died the other week I bought a 1TB Apple Time Capsule.
Just thought I'd mention this to anyone who has thought of a network disk. The only downside I have with it is it only has one disk. A mirrored pair would be much nicer. I still put my key data across to a NAS RAID5 unit every few days as well (call me paranoid  - disks can fail)
Brilliant idea and with the Mac OS X Time Machine it is great.
My wife's also complaining about me being a Mac convert after 2 weeks with an iMac. She even suggests I try and find a WA group (Windows Anonymous, for former Windows users :( )
