Hi,

I had the ABS light on most of the time and the ABS was kicking in some times when you hit the breakes. As this is not too much fun when you try to stop and the ABS is doing funny things I changed the sensor in the back where I was told the error code was coming from. Got a senser off ebay and changed it. (wrong side of course first) and after trying it on the other side the light goes off now when you start driving. So I hope things are better now.
Question is tha ABS cable is going through 2 holes under the car so they don't get in the way. How will the plug of the ABS sensor fit through that hole ??
Of course I can just run it past it and tie it somwhere but I can't remove the old sensor whithout chopping thee cable which I dont want to.

ABS still has problems. Light is now off most of the time but still the ABS kicks in most times when you hit the breakes. Seems to be when you are slow and try to stop but did it once at higher speeds as well. Does not feel good. :(

I have my "3 amigos" blazing.
I have replaced the "suspect" sensor but cant get the ECU fault cleared(Live in the country, plus waiting for a Nanocom to clear the fault)
My TC and ABS is working despite the warning lights.
The lights stay on permanantly even if the issue is fixed once the ECU lodges the fault 3 times.
Look into "shuttle valve faults" you may have issues there.
Have a look at the ABS modulator, its a box on the LHS side of the engine bay(all the brake lines come out of it).Has it got white paint marks on the discs???,(its pretty obvious if it has) if not call into a Landy Dealer and get them to check on their computer if the recall on the ABS has been done on your vehicle.
