A mate of mine recently had his Cruiser Dyno'ed as his fuel consumption was terrible, since the dyno he's noticed a 40 liter saving in diesel on a trip he does regularly towing a large trailer, also reported as have 20kw increase in power output. Now with the curent fuel prices this is a bloody good saving.

Can anyone recommend a good Dyno tuning shop in Melbourne that would know their way around a Disco TD5?

Cheers, Phill

4WD dyno in Thomastown on your left just before you take the Dalton rd exit off the ringroad, never used them but they are close to home so i would try there if i needed to.

Rankin Diesel seems to have a pretty good reputation on tuning diesel engines.

I've been meaning to take the 300Tdi there for a bit of a tweak up.

But you probably need to think about chipping as well as tuning.

Hi Phil
I doubt you will achieve anything as they cant "tune" the TD5.
You need to look into chiping,LPG fumagation,exhaust/intercooler upgrades.
The dyno will only be of benefit to prove to you before and after mods.
Non ECU diesels,ie TDis and cruiser gear, yes they can tune and improve on the dyno.
