Here are some pictures of my 300Tdi Provent install.

I stole the "mcrover location" (thanks, good spot!)

Excuse the pics, as good as a 6230i gets:p

I chose the square method of house routing, as it suits my personality better:D. I also managed to find 19-25mm adaptors at last.

I hope the short PVC "window of truth" tubing lasts, but if it doesn't I have some quality 25 mm hose.

Just need to fix me bracket up and its all good!

BTW my filter element has "003" etched into it... is that all I am, a bronze medal man:(:D

What did you do with the 12mm oil return, is it into a catch can or plumbed back to the sump?

Bought a 13mm poly tee - though I'm not 100% it will survive the heat. If it doesn't, mechanic can tap into the turbo return oil line at the next service soon.:)

I forgot to mention too, the amount of oil in the outlet side/hose from the OE cyclone and the air intake hoses was amazing. When I pulled the hose free, a good trickle emerged - gives a whole new meaning to "oil burner":D.

Should I bother to clean the IC etc out or will the fact that oil is no longer contaminating the intake be sufficient?

Great work Joel - I forgot to mention, that anywhere that sells air compressors or air compressor fittings (like most good tool shops) can sell you a brass T for only a few $$$.

What's a provent ?

Which rock have you been under the last couple of months? :p:D

I resent the fact you imply I've been under a rock !

It worse... I;ve been in an office.

Any results as yet or still in testing stage ?

Slow comeback Vlad, the results are due after a length of time pre determined by Ben according to average mileage travelled per annum of each vehicle taking part in the study, in my case 25k.
