G'day All,

Just a quickie, but to say if you are buying 2nd hand it is worth getting the extended warranty. It cost me I think around $1100, so far have had uni joint replaced at a cuppla hundred and when the D2 went in for first service, the ABS modulator had to be replaced at $1150.00. So far I have easily made my $$$ back.

Sounds good that they actually paid out for you.

I had one on a used Porsche (included in the deal - no idea how much it was supposed to be worth) but there were so many exclusions that I wasn't holding my breath to get them to payout on anything. Luckily for me not one single thing went bung in 3 years.

When it comes to these warranties
Some companies only pay only "upto maximum $" of the fix / after that your on your own
