discovery seats into RR classic ?

G'day all,

1st post on this site, gotta start somewhere !

I am looking at buying a Classic RR 88' that has the old rear bench seat. it used to be a diesel but now converted to 3.9 duel fuel.

I am wondering if it is feasable to install Defender split fold seats to the rear withthout any modifications ?

Reason for the question is that this machine has HSE leather front seats & I am guessing that I have a greater chance of getting decent Disco leather seats than Rangie seats.

The alternative is to get some classic split folds & have them re-uphostered but my wallet got frightened when I mentioned this idea.

I dont suppose any one would have any idea just how much upholstering in leather or Faux leather would cost ?

I dont have any seats as yet, just wanted to know if its feasable before / if I buy this vehicle.

I have a 88 rangie grey cloth split fold rear if your after one....

and no the disco wont fit as the range seat is narrower to fit into the wheel arch
