Ford C4 to roverV8

Hi Guys
Seeing pics of Bens 2a(izusurover) in action is giving me the "build a tough Series" itches again:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
Ive got a 3/4 done Ser3 with Ford V8/C4auto in the shed(loads of new stuff on it),unfortunately too hard to rego due to the 6" lift.
Ive also got a pair of Stage1 V8s that I can cannabalise as I see fit.Between the 3 a beast could be re-created.
Willing to ditch the Ford V8 idea and go RoverV8 but would like to keep the C4auto/Series transfercase.
Anybody know if the Borg Warner bellhousing from a Rangie V8 bolts up to a C4.Remember similar Borg Warner autos were used in falcoons.Would be so easy if they do.Thoughts please!!!!

Why not just pull the lift out of your project and chop the guards instead???
