Came across these in Yass at the weekend. They are at the west end of Berry St, and appear to belong to the house on the W corner of Berry and Victoria Sts.

Looks like some good spare body panels there John. Actually, from the photo, they look fairly straight.

I sometimes wonder if we are treading on anyones toes.

One of my S2B's was parked with it's nose sticking out of a shed and was a bit difficult to see from the road. When 2 other LR enthusiasts mentioned that they knew where I lived because they had seen the S2B I covered it up with a tarp.

Would these people who's properties and addresses are being posted appreciate the attention. It's something to consider?

A good point Diana, and possibly I should not have given the address - but these are in plain view in a fairly busy suburban street (its the one leading to a major electricity substation and depot). Half the population of Yass probably sees them every week or so.

On the other hand, they may appreciate the attention if they are open to selling.

But I take note of your concern and shall try to remember to be a little more circumspect in future.

If they are a farmers junk they may like to get rid of them, however if they are an enthusiasts stash they may not appreciate the attention. Particularly when we know not everyone is honest and some bits, like horn buttons, can cost a fortune.

A friend and I purchased a couple of 80" in a paddock with a 6' high chain wire fence fronting the road. Some thieves had "fence hopped" from several properties away and removed all the ID tags and name plates, except the one up against a wall.

My guess that the pic and town would be reasonable but not an address.
