Ron apologises for the delay in drawing the winch raffle. He's been back into hospital for another retinal detachment. This time they also had to remove his lens so he can't see very well now.
He has to stay face down for 22 hours in 24.
We will arrange for a local JP to draw the ticket today.
He can't post from bed as his PDA won't send posts to the forum.

Absolutely no rush, we all understand Ron's prediciment. His health is more important.
I don't mind waiting for my winch to arrive and I'm taking advantage of being able to get away with bad spelling:p
Hope you are up on your feet and better soon Ron:D
Cheers

I cant imagine how difficult it must be to keep him horizontal for so long,,

Hi Elisabeth,
Thanks for taking the time to keep us informed.
I am more interested in Ron's health than the winch draw (especially as I omitted to get a ticket :().

The winch raffle isn't important Elisabeth. Tell Ron to take his time.
What is important, is that Ron has perfect vision when he reads my name on the winning ticket!:D

I can't imagine Ron sitting still for 22 mintues, let alone 22 hours. There are quite a few concerned folks over on RR.net. Keep us posted. So Elisabeth, is it time for another wine delivery? :twobeers:

Ta Da!!!!!
Elisabeth has let me log on to the desktop to advise you all of the winner.
She videotaped the draw to show it's above board (that's not her doing the draw). Disregard the letter in the raffle ticket number.
So here it is for you all to see:

As I said, forget the letter A. I had to buy two books of tickets. A1-A100 were tickets 1-100 and B1-B50 were tickets 101-150.
Yes, congrats to Dullbird
