Today I just picked up a 1994 Disco V8 auto for $2.5K which was advertised on Outer Limits. Generally it's in well kept order apart from the transfer case, which is knackerd. Also includes a TJM bullbar and Ox Hydraulic winch (9000 lb or 10000, not sure ), 248k on the clock, alloys, 7 seats and a few spare parts. Considering the rip-off car yards in QLD who want $5K upwards for similar vintage and IMO nowhere near as tidy as this old banger, I'm not too worried about the transfer bein g a bit dodgy.
Few pics. Plans unknown, probably be set-up for touring and the easier trips. I wasn't in the market for the Disco, but at that price I was willing to outlay the dosh.

With the couple of extra goodies on it I would have bought it with NO TRANSFER CASE ...... I reckon you got a fair deal their man especially if you are handy on the tools. Worse case scenario if plans don't work out you sell it bit by bit as spares to other Disco owners and make some cash on it .... If I had the room for aspare ride I would have got it too .......:):)

Well done Trav good buy mate. With fuel prices on the move the old V8,s will be cheap.

Trav, glad to see you have seen the light again and got "Discofied" once again.
Looks a great buy at those dollars.

You'd make money on that if you wrecked it easily so it was a good buy.
The Ox hydraulic winch will be either 10000lb or 12000lb as that is all they made AFAIK. I had a 12000lb on my Rodeo.

Aquasition! Obviously a Sea Rover, not a Land Rover. Sorry, Ron, and JD-Ron-Acting unpaid.

Must be bloody cold in Marsden! ;)
Don't think I've ever seen a Disco1 with front mudflaps. Were they an option?
Mines only got one rear one these days anyway.
