Hi,
Dunlop Adventurers come in 235/70R16 with a 112 load rating.
Anyone have these tyres? What are they like please?
I was going to get some Coopers but form what I've seen here the bad outweighs the good on them so perhaps the Dunlops? They seem the closest thing to LT construction but in the 235/70 size.
Thanks
Peter

Hi Peter
I went for some bridgestone 694LT tyres they are light truck but are only available in 245 70 16 but with a 113 load rating.. bought my speedo bang on accuracy wise tho!
i picked these up a fair bit cheaper than any of the other brands (excepting the budget tyres) i think i paid $209 each as they had a special on and they seem to perform well... not done many k's on them yet.
sorry it doesnt answer your question... but at least i can add to your confusion! :)
Thanks
Steve

I have run adventurers in the past on a D1 and found them to be a pretty good tyre on gravel and have a good ware rate. They get a bit scary on wet bitumen though and they are a fairly old tread pattern.

Hey Steve,
Thanks for the info - hadn't considered 245/70's before now and the 694's would be a good choice at that price too.
BUT I have the D2 turning circle mod (which is fantastic) and not sure if I can go this wide.
Does anyone know if the 245/70R16's fit on a D2 with the turning circle mod?
Cheers
Peter
