Hi,

I'm about to pick up an 06 RRS (upgrading from a p38), and have been doing research on potential issues etc.

The main problem seems to be the requirement to purchase $$$ hardware to get more video inputs on to the screen. eg. reversing cameras, wireless video etc.

Had a look at the Overfinch website last night... Very tempted by the engine and exhaust upgrades.. Anyone had it done? Their website didn't list prices (I guess if you need to ask, you can't afford it :p ) The upgrade of the plastic bits on the body to proper body colored bits makes quite a difference..

I've browsed through the recommended suppliers on the forum, but I can't seem to find an accessories store that actually lists accessories? eg. rubber floor mats etc.

Any advice is much appreciated .....

Well I wont ask how much the RRS is, as I quite clearly cant afford one :(

AULRO has never really decided whether RRS is a Range Rover of a Disco 3. Can we have a ruling or better still our own dedicated area?

I bought my rubber mats from the dealer. They were not cheap! No-one except the dealers stock any after market stuff for the RRS, except for the Rhino racks. Let us know if you find anything 4WDy (not just bling).

I intend to eventually source a snorkel and front bar for mine.

Great truck though. After a Defender I am still in awe of the silence and comfort.

First up,,
Welcome to AULRO .COM RRS_bunny:D

for the moment can we let the RRS reside in the RR Forums?

my thinking is if a person was searching for posts on a Range Rover Sport they would go to the Range Rover Forum,,

by all means,, if this upsets RRS owners,, let US know,,

now to the most important part of this post----

PICS!!!!:D

Pics to come on Saturday (pickup day)

Ended up ordering a multimedia interface module from the US to add the extra video inputs. Fortunately it sits inline with the sat nav, so not much messing around with installation.

Might go wireless with the cameras though.. Don't fancy pulling apart the panels.

Have to say that this is the most fun car to drive.... Didn't want to stop driving.

Brakes are insane - hardly need to touch them to stop the car. Took a bit of getting used to.

Its acceleration is also insane..... gotta make sure its pointing in a straight line before planting the foot, as it just takes off :D

pic attached.

pic attached. You will find it quite good off road as they are built on a D3 platform:D
Lucky you. I can't extend my self to one yet :(, Just going to supercharge my old Rangie and pretend:angel:
Hope you have a good run out of it. Should give less grief then P38;)
